Our first fundraiser this year is going to be a Shrove Tuesday pancake dinner. The Garden City Swim Club will be teaming up with the Monroeville Fire Department #6 to host a pancake dinner. The dinner will be held at the Garden City Hall from 5-7:30 Tuesday, February 28th. The cost is $6.00 per person, kids 5 & under are free.
The annual Garden City Swim Club Swim-A-Thon will be on August 25, 2016. Activities will begin at 6:00 p.m. (grilled food for sale, snow cones for swimmers, games before the lap swim). Lap swim for participants will be from 7:00-8:00 p.m. Attached is the sponsor form. Please collect sponsor between now and the 25th. All proceeds benefit the pool.
Starting August 8th the pool will be open daily from 1 pm to 7 pm.
August dinner deal is at Max & Erma’s August 15th. Bring your family and friends out for dinner and support the pool.
Annual members meeting is Wednesday August 31st, 7 p.m. at the big pavilion. We will be voting on the President and Treasurers positions. Please consider running for a board position.
The family camp out is Friday August 12. Dust off your camping gear and come down to the pool for a fun family night of swimming, movies on the big screen and s’mores. See you there.
The Garden City Swim Club will be offering an adult lap swim each Tuesday and Thursday morning from 9:30 – 11:30am. The lap swim is open to adults 18 and over, weather permitting. Cost is $5.00 (cash only) payable to the manager on duty at the gate. Pool membership is not required, open to the community. Questions can be directed to manager@gardencitydolphins.
